Book Club

Learn About Our Company

We will also be reading our ONE SCHOOL ONE BOOK novel - 'Moonrise' by Sarah Crossan as part of our Wellread Award.

Each week, on a Monday, a group of readers gathers in the school library at lunchtime to discuss the most recent book which has caught our attention. Students suggest books to be read and there is strong competition to decide which one is to be read next. The discussion is informal and varied and everyone contributes their personal thoughts and opinions.

Here are some of the suggested books for Book Club to be read this term:

October – 'Murder On The Orient Express' – Agatha Christie

5th November and  19th November  - 'Secret Life of Bees' – Sue Monk Kidd

26th November – 'Holes' by  Louis Sachar

December – 'Who Could That Be At This Hour?' by L Snicket
